Why Work With Us?

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to recruitment; it takes time, resources and the knowledge to try out different strategies. Using a recruitment agency extends your reach and increases your ability to meet with high quality candidates. Not all the best candidates are actively looking for a new job. We call those candidates ‘passive talent’, and they need more time to find. There is a strong possibility that we know who those people are, how to connect with them, and more importantly, know how to motivate them to make a move. We have access to a large talent pool of candidates that we thoroughly pre-screen. We work with candidates on a daily basis and we are experts at interviewing. Through best practice methods, we understand both our candidate needs and your requirements to make a great match. You only meet with candidates that have been already carefully assessed and interviewed.

Using a recruitment agency will shorten the time it takes to fill your open positions. A recruitment agency can find candidates much faster than you can. We have a vast network of connections to leverage and access to tailored systems that help us identify and locate people with those hard to find skills you are looking for. This means that the only people that agencies submit for your review are those that fit the criteria of your job.

Not only do we reduce the time required to find the right candidates but we can also minimize the time you need to invest in the process. We can do all the time-consuming sifting, digging, posting, contacting, screening, initial interviewing and shortlisting, coordinating, background checking, verifying, referencing etc. This allows you to focus on other important matters.

Through our conversations with both clients and candidates, we gain extensive knowledge about the sectors we work with. This means that we are often able to provide you with valuable insight and sound advice. When you use a recruitment agency you gain access to their knowledge of salary rates, available skill sets, career expectations, current hiring complexities, and even market trends you may otherwise have never known about.

This is what we do, day in, day out. As your company grows and changes, your inhouse recruitment team may need to conduct complex interviews for positions they are not necessarily familiar with. We specialize in recruiting for specific sectors and verticals. This means we often have better knowledge of specialized roles and the skills needed for them. We are also able to spot transferable skills others may miss.

Working with a professional recruitment agency can support the creation, enhancement and maintenance or your company’s Employer Brand. This is your reputation as an employer and has a significant impact on your ability to attract the best candidates. We are specialists in promoting our clients as desirable employers and highlighting the valued benefits of a role (Employee Value Proposition) including compensation, benefits, career, work environment and culture factors.

Most of the work we do happens before any potential compensation comes from our client. If no candidate is placed, then no fees (unless a retainer has been paid) are charged for work done. This means that we are focusing on providing you with the best possible candidates for your open roles – those who are genuinely interested in your job and company.

As outlined above, no fees (except for retainers) are payable until a candidate is placed. We also guarantee placements for a period of time.

We make the right connections; helping companies find the right people with the right skills, knowledge, experience and cultural fit.

Prestige genuinely cares about the people and organizations that we work with. Our candidates and employer-clients all share something in common. They have a strong drive to achieve success. We are similarly driven to help both our candidates and clients to achieve those career or organizational goals.

Our candidates are not just a bunch of resumes or applicant profiles in a database to be added simply to grow a recruiter’s candidate inventory. Each job seeker and candidate is treated as an individual with unique needs and preferences. We meet with all of our candidates before presenting to our clients. This is the only way we can truly connect with people and develop a deeper understanding of right fit.

Every client and every search is different. We therefore go through a detailed initial discovery phase with each and every new client before undertaking a new recruitment project. We then develop a customized recruitment strategy and plan for each project. This can range from simple to complex. We will utilize a range of tools and adopt a creative approach that adapts to the unique requirements of the situation and conditions of the market.

We do not suffer from office politics, in-fighting or excessive pressure to make commission or hit monthly targets. We focus on quality, not commission, and proactively provide full transparency, timely, meaningful and accurate communication, and strong accountability.

We provide a standard 6-month guarantee for all permanent placements. Like our clients, we are not satisfied unless we make a long-term placement. If a placed candidate leaves after just 4 months, we can hardly consider that a success.

Successful recruiting requires a proactive approach using a multitude of different tools. We do not adopt a ‘post and hope’ sourcing method which relies on luck. The best candidates are typically passive in the job market and need to be sought out and approached in a tactful and professional way. We don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and tap into our network to find that ‘needle in the haystack’.
